  • The store and club hourly jobs page greets prospective workers with a list of potential job titles within various career areas, such as grocery, front end, receiving, and sales floor, as well as a listing of new store openings. After reviewing the page, click the orange “Apply Now” button to proceed.
  • Candidates must read and agree to three pre-application corporate statements before registering. New applicants must register by clicking the blue ‘Create Login’ button on the right side.
  • To register valid login credentials, individuals must enter usernames and passwords. Candidates must also select five security questions. Applicants may then login once again with chosen usernames and passwords.
  • After logging in, the website prompts users to enter social security numbers and create four-digit personal identification numbers.
  • The application form informs users of a non-discrimination policy in order to provide equal employment opportunities. Applicants must identify as female, male, or choose “I do not wish to provide this information.” Clicking “Next” brings prospective associates to a similar page asking about racial identity. Individuals select an option in order to proceed to a page asking applicants about eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Users must select preferred areas of interest, such as Walmart Stores, Sam’s Club outlets, or Walmart Logistics distribution centers. After choosing a desired area of interest, applicants must use a facility locator tool to choose store locations, searching by city and state or by zip code. Candidates may select multiple locations of interest.
  • Next, applicants choose desired positions, such as hourly, management, or professional. Selecting a position brings up a specified list of related job groups. Individuals may check multiple job titles.
  • A section asking applicants to provide personal information appears afterwards. Fill out the necessary details and click “Next” to continue. Candidates receive a message about availability and must click “I Agree” to continue on. When filling out schedule availability, provide the earliest and latest hours possible to ensure full hiring consideration.

  • Applicants then enter employment history information for the past 10 years. Click the “Add” button to bring up a form requesting previous employment information, such as company name, pay rate, and manager name. Fill out the required information on the left hand side, click “Add” in the box to the right to enter a position, start date, and end date, then click “Save” at the bottom of the screen. To add additional employment information for other past jobs, applicants may repeat the process by clicking “Add” each time the Employment History Summary screen appears.
  • The qualifications page allows users to enter information about previous educational experience, certifications and licenses, and language proficiencies. Under each category, a blue “Add” button takes applicants to a separate page in order to fill out the details. Follow the instructions on each page in order to complete the section of the application.
  • A four-step questionnaire follows the qualifications page. The questions cover areas such as military service, age, legal employment status, hourly availability, level of education, experience, and other personal information.
  • The assessment following the questionnaire contains 65 questions and takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. Individuals should prepare to choose appropriate responses to work-related questions, rate the effectiveness of dealing with work-related situations, agree or disagree with various statements, and indicate previous work experiences. When ready, click the “Take” button, read through the introductory instructions, and click “Next” to begin.
